What is Railz Miniworld?
Railz Miniworld is a tourist attraction in the centre of Rotterdam. It’s the largest indoor model railroad layout of The Netherlands. You certainly don’t have to be a model railroad enthousiast to have a great day with the whole family.

Why visit a modelrailroad layout?
A modelrailroad layout is a big and detailed world in miniature that tells a story, it's full of motion, it's full of lights and it generates sounds.

It's much more than "just" modeltrains. With pushbuttons you can activate certain scenes on the layout. Day and night on the layout are simulated by dimming the lights in the exhibitionhall and activation of thousands of lights on the layout.

A complete attraction
The model railroad layout is the biggest part of the attraction. However there is more. Visitors can see how parts of the layout are built in the open workshop. In the commandcentre visitors can see how the modellayout is controlled. In a small cinema a movie shows how the layout was built, pictures from videocameras that are hidden in the layout give visitors an unusual viewpoint on the layout. With tours behind the scenes you can visit parts of the modelrailroad that are normally not accessible for visitors. Last but not least there is a small restaurant and giftshop.
